Network Difficulties

Krickettt and I were just in a match and it kicked out two of the members on the other side. Then it said the map was The Pit and showed a picture of Guardian. When the game finally started it went to 0 then sent us to the lobby.

Hell’s Hallway

Halo Trilogy is starting to release forge maps. Our first release is currently undergoing beta testing and was mostly designed by krickettt. We were highly inspired by our favorite community map “Tunnel Raid 2.0.” We did our first testing last night. Here are some screens from it.

Marriage Proposal

Well every guy wants to find a unique way to pop the question to his (hopefully) future wife. Well Moviesign made a forge map in Halo 3 that spelled out ‘Marry Me?’ He told his girlfriend they were going to play a two on two match. In the game he took her to the place where he said he placed the energy sword but instead she found:
Marry Me?
And yes she did accept his proposal!

Back in Friendly Hands

A few weeks ago I had to say goodbye to a good friend of mine when my Xbox 360 suffered from the 3 Red Rings of Death. Thankfully I knew that Microsoft had extended the warranty on the product for this issue. I shipped it off and only now received it back. Everything went well the only thing I could have wanted more was faster delivery time(three weeks seemed a bit long).

So I opened it up as soon as I got home. I was expecting to receive some sort of compensation for it breaking down unexpectedly. Inside there was a 1 month free trial to Xbox Live. Although it is not a bad thing to have (I can save like $6 now) I would have rather just never had to send my xbox off.

Xbox 360 Alive!

Naturally since I just got back my favorite console and got another copy of Halo 3 ( I wont go into the tragic story of how my other one died) I decided to play with some friends of mine over Xbox Live. What I really wanted to try out was some of those maps form ForgeHub.com like I mentioned in the last post. My friends and I were really pumped to try out the map title Tunnel Raid 2.0. We were not disappointed even the slightest. We had a blast playing to be frank. Below is a picture of one of the first rounds we played. The only problem we had with the map is people breaking outside of the manmade part of the map. Jordan had an idea to fixed it in forge and we got it all sorted out to further ward off their attempts to making the game unfair.

Tunnel Raid 2.0

We also played some Big Team Battle which is remarkable faster than it was in Halo 2. One problem with it is having to press up on the d-pad though so I don’t like that part of it that much… What we use Big Team Battle for is to find player for custom games. It works extremely well. We just send invites to our recent players list and they join.

All in all today was a super day of Halo that I must admit I have missed.
