Bungie confesses that Halo 3 does not run natively in HD but they do have a good reason for it. The reason is they use two buffers so that the lighting is still there.

Last night after I got off of Halo 3 I noticed my Xbox had 3 or the its lights on red. I was extremely frustrated. I unplugged everything and detached my hard drive. Then in the morning I turned on my Xbox 360 and it worked perfectly!
Update: Nevermind I need a life now because it is definitely screwed over by the gods of people that hate me.
Update 2: Oh yeah I fixed it again!
Update 3: I plugged in the hard drive while it was on. I hate myself. Actually would have been avoided if it was not for krickettt’s first.
Update 4: I fixed it again and I am never turning off my Xbox again.
Team Xbox has an article all about the skulls, well most of them. Here you go

During the first day of sales for Halo 3 they earned $170 million dollars. This surpasses any entertainment record in the world. The previous record was held by no other than Halo 2 with $125 million. Also this is only US sales so there are still millions of dollars not counted in Europe and other places!
The let me in easter egg has the Red vs Blue voices in it. You can here it on Crow’s Nest.
